For GOLFERS only...

 

 

How many times have you been amazed at that incredible "corkscrew" windup that Tiger Woods has before he brings it about into yet another one of his sensational shots?
I guess that we all have had that sense of wonder.

But....
Here's the discouraging part of that picture:....


He's able to do that mostly as a result of "genetics" ----
and, unless we've been blessed with a smililar DNA makeup that Tiger has...we're highly unlikely EVER to be able to pull off such similar feats of athletic prowess on the links.


However...get ready, because...
here's another piece of unwelcome news that's related to this:....

No matter how many professional lessons we might take....there will be a "limit" to the amount of improvement that those lessons will provide to our current game.

NOW....Here's the GOOD news:

We CAN  not only greatly improve our game.....
but also lower our handicap significantly....
and both without taking another professional lesson....OR....buying a new set of clubs!
And the "secret" to this is simplicity itself!
What we need to change is the way in which our bodies move!

THAT'S RIGHT!

All the lessons in the world CAN teach you the correct way to bring your club around and to make contact with the golf ball.....BUT.....if your body isn't able to repeatedly and regularly co-operate with the physics of proper form....
it makes the ultimate goal of consistency still seem "out of reach".

The REASONS for this:

Golf is an "unnatural and unbalanced" sport.....relying mostly on ONE SIDE of the body to do the majority of the work, as do most sports; with runners, gymnasts, cyclists and swimmers being the possible exceptions.
Over time....your body develops a "favoritism" towards one side (and this is only logical --- because it is in the body's natural wisdom to attempt to always balance itself), but unfortunately, in the process, this results more often than not, in an imbalance of the left and right sides of the body.
It's a simple and unavoidable pitfall of the nature of the sport itself.
However....
Nature (the effects of gravity), a "less than perfect diet" and inadequate nutrition, coupled with our lack of knowledge about the advantages of pursuing alternative body therapies, also stand in the way of the "true" improvements in your game which you are seeking!


NOW....Here's where I come in:

What's needed is for your body to move in a more "fluid" fashion;
to have that extra "range of motion" that you've most likely noticed is keeping you from getting that great "wind-up" that Tiger Woods so easily and effortlessly shows to us.
Of course.....it would be folly for me to tell you that I can turn you into a golfer of his caliber, because as I said before.....he has a specific genetic advantage on his side that is common to many of our most successful athletes in their respective fields of play.

Barring that however...

The "secret" to a better game lies NOT in more lessons.....
but rather in giving your body the competitive physical advantage it needs so that those lessons you've already had can finally show up in their full potential as "changes" in your score card that you can see for yourself!...
And all of this simply by releasing your body's long-standing restrictions....and unlocking your natural swing.
